After 16 years of its existence, a traditional meeting of HR managers in the form of conference focused on exchanging experience of the latest trends in human resources management called New Trends in Personnel Management, is about to take a brake.
Trenkwalder Company, the organizer of the conference, decided to reconsider its activities in organizing this type of professional events, as these have been organized with a confusing structure and repeated topics during recent years in Slovakia. As a result, the HR managers started to lack interest in such events. Ľuboš Sirota, Trenkwalder's Chairman of Board and CEO explains the reasons: "We were the pioneers of this business in Slovakia and we opened over 200 professional topics heard by almost 4,000 Slovak personnel managers over the long years. However, Trenkwalder has changed and moved forward".
Over the years, the company has transformed from a traditional recruitment agency providing HR consulting services to one of the largest employers in Slovakia which specializes in temporary assignment of employees. Over 20,000 employees work on this type of work assignment, i. e. temporary staffing, every year in Slovakia.
Therefore, the leader of personnel leasing on Slovak market decided to focus primarily on analyses, forecasts and qualified commentaries on the domestic labour market, which is almost entirely absent these days.
Starting this year, 4 professional discussion forums, out of which Trenkwalder plans to organize the first one in the forthcoming months, will take place. Furthermore, HR Oscar competition that was previously awarded to the best HR projects in Slovakia is about to undergo a similar transformation towards the projects focused on activities resulting in overall positive changes of the labour market.
Trenkwalder is the largest company providing services in temporary staffing, search and selection of employees on the Slovak market since 1991. The company is the founder of Association of Recruitment Agencies in Slovakia.
The mission of HR Oscar was to award the best HR projects, which contributed significantly to the development of the particular company. Trenkwalder was the announcer of the competition during 10 years. The Club of Personnel Managers was the professional supervisor of HR Oscar Awards.
